What Does a GEO Agency Cost?

The typical published price for GEO services is $3,000 per month. Every seller that publishes prices, verified with their review record, plus the best-reviewed agencies and what they charge. Checked August 2026.

The typical published price for generative engine optimization services is $3,000 per month, with the middle half of published prices running $1,250 to $7,500. Pricing guides written by agencies claim a typical $6,000 per month, double what sellers publish. One-time audits are published from $99 to $450 in productized form, against a claimed $1,500 to $5,000. Consultants run about $200 per hour. These numbers come from 724 price mentions across 37 websites plus a seller-by-seller verification of every company that publishes GEO prices, completed August 2026.

The short answer

What you are buying Published prices say Pricing guides claim
Monthly GEO/AEO retainer $3,000/mo typical ($1,250 to $7,500) $6,000/mo typical ($1,750 to $15,000)
Fixed-scope sprint $3,000 to $8,000 one-time rarely mentioned
One-time audit $99 to $450 productized $1,500 to $5,000
Hourly consulting $200/hr typical $50 to $300/hr
Enterprise programs $10,000 to $68,250/mo published $25,000 to $50,000+/mo

What each price band actually buys

Under $1,500 per month is the productized end: fixed deliverables, month-to-month terms, schema and entity work plus a monthly citation report. Nekko Digital ($500 to $1,400), GEO.solutions ($590 to $3,490) and Gushwork ($800 to $2,200) live here.

$1,500 to $5,000 per month is the core market and contains the typical price. Full-service retainers with content production, tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews, and a named account contact. UnoSearch ($1,200 to $2,500), Intleacht ($1,500 to $6,000), Singularity Digital ($2,000 GEO-only), RevvGrowth (from $3,000), WebFX (from $3,000), OutreachBloom ($3,400 to $4,900) and Breaking B2B (from $3,500) all publish entry tiers inside or near this band.

$5,000 to $15,000 per month buys senior-led programs: Singularity's bundled tiers ($4,100 to $13,000), Breaking B2B's growth plans ($5,500 to $9,700), Fuel Online's foundational tier (from $6,500) and RevvGrowth's top plan ($8,000).

Above $15,000 per month is enterprise territory and it is real, not just claimed: Fuel Online publishes a $10,000 minimum and $10,000 to $45,000 benchmarks, Breaking B2B publishes plans to $40,000+, and WebFX publishes tiers to $68,250.

Watch the contract shape, not just the sticker

Two sellers with similar monthly prices can cost very different money in year one. Intleacht's $1,500 to $6,000 tiers carry a six-month term plus a mandatory $5,000 upfront website rebuild, so its cheapest first year is about $14,000. Nekko, Gushwork, GEO.solutions and Breaking B2B advertise month-to-month or sprint terms with no lock-in. Always compute the twelve-month cost including setup fees before comparing quotes.

Every seller that publishes GEO prices, verified

This table is the dataset behind the numbers above: all 13 companies we could find anywhere that publish GEO/AEO service prices, each checked on its own pricing page in August 2026, with its third-party review record.

The review desert

Here is the finding buyers should sit with: of the 13 companies confident enough to publish GEO prices, five have no third-party reviews anywhere we could find (GEO.solutions, Intleacht, Singularity Digital, p0stman, Breaking B2B) and two more have exactly one (RevvGrowth, OutreachBloom). Only four sellers have more than a dozen verified reviews. GEO is young enough that most of the market is selling $500 to $40,000 monthly programs on zero independent track record. That does not make the small sellers bad; it makes reference calls and short first terms essential.

Two verification notes from building the table. OutreachBloom's own blog cites ratings its verified profiles do not show. And review platforms can disagree sharply about the same seller: WebFX holds 4.9 from 450 Clutch reviews and 4.9 from 176 on G2, alongside 2.6 from 18 on Trustpilot.

The best-reviewed agencies do not publish prices

We also scouted the other side of the market: the GEO/AEO agencies with the largest verified review bases. The pattern inverts completely. Of the ten most-reviewed agencies selling GEO, nine publish no GEO prices at all; the only public cost signal is the minimum engagement size their Clutch profiles list.

Agency Clutch rating Published GEO pricing Minimum engagement (per Clutch)
Ignite Visibility 4.8 (175 reviews) not published $1,000+
Victorious 4.8 (119) not published $50,000+
SEO Brand 4.9 (109) not published $1,000+
Thrive 4.6 (109) not published $1,000+
NinjaPromo 4.9 (96) $4,000 to $100,000/mo subscription $5,000+
Directive 4.8 (56) not published $10,000+
Siege Media 4.9 (47) not published $5,000+
NP Digital 4.6 (19) not published $1,000+
Single Grain 4.8 (12) not published $10,000+
Omniscient Digital 4.8 (6) not published $5,000+

Put the two tables together and the market splits cleanly: in GEO you can buy from a seller with published prices or from a seller with verified reviews, and almost never both. NinjaPromo is the single company in either table with a large review base and a public price list. The practical consequence: if you want the reviewed end of the market, budget against the minimums ($5,000 to $50,000 to get in the door at the specialist firms) and get the quote in writing; if you want price transparency, do the reference-checking yourself.

What reviewers actually say

From the sellers with real review bases: WebFX's Clutch reviewers praise proactive account teams ("continually impressed with the talent of the entire team") while its Trustpilot critics say the opposite ("they charge a bunch of money and get very little work done"). Gushwork's Trustpilot runs from "I actually got a new lead in the first 2 weeks" to a one-star "high prices, major focus on sales." Fuel Online's rare critical note is price: "somewhat expensive but you get what you pay for." UnoSearch holds a perfect 5.0 across 27 Clutch reviews, with the only recurring wish being more detailed reporting. Among the big reviewed agencies, the recurring critical themes are delivery timing (Ignite Visibility), team consistency (SEO Brand), and account-team seniority (NP Digital).

Do you need to pay for this at all?

Sometimes no. Our measurement study of 100 commercial keywords found that pages ranking in Google's top five were already cited by at least one AI engine 89.4% of the time. If you rank top five for the queries that matter, a GEO retainer buys little. The work earns its fee at positions 6 to 20 (citation rates of 63.1% and 28.2%) and for pages with no ranking at all, where 60% of AI citations actually go. Check your rankings and whether the engines already cite you before signing anything; both checks are free.

How to choose

Methodology

Prices were collected in August 2026 from a 724-mention sweep of 37 websites, then verified seller by seller on each company's own pricing page; where the two disagreed, the pricing page won. A separate scouting pass covered the ten GEO agencies with the largest verified Clutch review bases. Typical prices are medians (the middle value, so one $68,250 tier cannot distort them). Review figures were checked directly on Clutch, G2, Trustpilot and Google; "none found" means no reviews on any of those platforms at verification time, not that none exist anywhere. Citation statistics come from our study of 100 US keywords, 3,102 measured pages and 564 checks per page. The row-level dataset is available on request: [email protected].

Check the pages before you buy the retainer

Citation Gap audits any page free against the same 564 measurements our research runs on, and tells you what actually predicts AI citation. For a custom pricing or visibility report for your industry and competitors: [email protected].
